Yesterday seems to have been Israel's highest daily rise in covid-19 cases; almost 3,000, which is significant for a small country.
I've been keeping a daily record in a spreadsheet since March 1 ( https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1F-pYagiaip491n504ssCt19adUVT6iG2-5aL8xiiZfI/edit?usp=sharing).
don't think there's time yet for the rise to reflect the return to school; that promises to raise the figures even more, as happened last time. Thirty or so towns, labeled "red" towns, were banned from sending kids to school, on the night before the school year actually started, which was kind of rough. A large majority of them were Arab towns (in Israel). The PA is also seeing the highest daily rise since the start of the pandemic.
